Lucie and I decided to plant some petunias today. She seemed happy playing on her sheet while I dug around. At first. However, babies quickly tire of age appropriate toys, so while I was busy chasing a toad out of the bed, Lucie made a fast break for the flower flat. I turned around, and she was shoveling a fistful of petunia leaves and dirt into her mouth. After checking to make sure that one bite of petunia wouldn't kill her, I laughed hysterically and grabbed the camera.
My favorite part is the tongue action. Look closely on the right.
Reading: I'm temporarily breaking up the Mansfield Park endeavor with some Flannery O'Connor short stories. I just read "The Heart of the Park."

LOL!
Found your blog via Allison. Just wanted to say it's so nice to see other CDing parents! People always look at me like I've just vomited on them when they find out I cloth diaper.
