Highlights of President's Day weekend:
-Second City with Jason, Jason, and Beth
-Kelly getting a double-double in the Concordia game. (12 points, 11 rebounds) Good job, sis! Your tattoo is heinous, though. Really shoddy workmanship. Sorry.
-Falling asleep before 9 PM 4 out of 5 nights.
-And Dad's playlist on the way to River Forest.
To comment further on the last entry, I must say that I think my dad may just be the coolest 50 year old on the planet. His playlist included Prince, Outkast, Elvis Costello, The Darkness, Throwing-Copper-era Live, Franz Ferdinand, A White Sox mix (the Sox fight song, "Thunderstruck", and "Don't Stop Believing"), Johnny Cash, The Who, and Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone".
When pressed about the Kelly Clarkson song, Pop Pop sheepishly replied, "I like songs that start quiet but get loud."
I love you, Dad.
Currently playing in my head- "Radio Radio"- Elvis Costello

I know what Pop Pop means. Songs that start quiet and get loud are totally awesome.
By the way, I voted for Paris 5 times last night. ;)
LOL... Kelly Clarkson, The Who, Johnny Cash... an odd collection, yet for a man his age is rather cool :)...But, does he have Stryper on the list ...that is the Cool of Cool bands for 50 yr olds lol. :)
Sara, you would vote for Paris five times wouldn't you... Hey did you ever get ur cheesecake?
Yeah, he gone stoled that music from me. Didn't realize about the Kelly Clarkson, though. Hilarious.
