The remarkable thing about television is that it permits several million people to laugh at the same joke and still feel lonely

This blog has no thesis. Or I suppose I can call it, "A series of tidbits." Here goes:
Tidbit A) Wicked was delightful again. Thanks Mommy, Sara, Sam and Brian for adding to the atmosphere. Also- does anyone think it is possible to steal an entire Chipotle, employees and all? If you can make it happen, you can come live in our house when it gets built. I will be putting the Chipotle in the basement, so that we all can enjoy burrito bols whenever we feel so inclined.
Tidbit 2) January has been the best month for television in the history of the world. American Idol! 24! So, who do we think is going to win American Idol? And are we willing to put money on our choices? I'm up for any bets/pools that are floating around. I like the dude from Denver who sang "The Letter." He's a "rocker" in the tradition of the irrepressible Mr. Bo Bice. My final pick won't be announced until we get down to the final 24, but I've been pretty good at this game in the past. I picked Kelly, Fantasia, and Bo. Yeah, that's right- Bo won. Don't argue with me. I've got 20 eighth graders who will totally teepee your house if you don't think I'm right. And as for 24, I have three words to express my feelings regarding the premiere: Jack flipping Bauer!
Tidbit Trois) My students are in rehearsals for Neil Simon's Fools right now, and I have a really good feeling about this show. I know what you are thinking- "Eighth grade!! Theater?" *scoff, scoff* "High school is painful enough!"- but bear with me. I really believe that this will be a genuinely good show. And not just "good for eighth graders." These kids are really special, and they are taking a lot of pride in this whole process, so I think good things will emerge.
Tidbit (insert Chinese character for 4 here)) Tray ceilings.
Final Tidbit) Yoda, the new hamster, sux. To the max. So far he's bitten two kids, peed on me twice, and peed on a student once. *anguished groan* Juneau, come back!!! Juuuuunnnneaaaauuuuu!!

Currently playing: "Green eyes"- Coldplay
Reading: The Reptile Room- Lemony Snickett

Yes, you did spell it right. I was simply celebrating the spelling rule.
