Because I like to copy people, I am going to follow Sam's lead and list my top five desert island songs. To qualify, these songs not only have to be among my favorites, but I must be able to hear them over and over and over again and not go all "The Shining" on anyone. I think that is a very important quality for a desert island song. Anyway, here's the list:
5) "Doubting Thomas"- Nickel Creek. This is a new favorite, and I play it over and over again, but I have to list it last because it is new, and I can't predict how long I will love it. But it definitely speaks to me. I almost cried a little when I first listened to the lyrics.
4) "Next to You"- Randall Goodgame. Our wedding song. It'll be good if Jason is on the island with me, 'cause we can hear it and think, "Well, at least we're together." And if he's not, it'll make me cry a little in the beginning, but cheer me up in the end.
3) "All for the Best"- Godspell. This is one of the most upbeat songs I've ever heard. No one can be sad when they listen to this. It'll cheer me and my fellow castaways right up. And it will allow me to hone my jazz hand skills. I really won't have anything better to do now will I?
2) "I Want You Back" The Jackson 5. Can't get sick of it. I've tried to, but I just can't. I think that's why so many rappers sample it.
1) "Take on Me" A-Ha. It's been my favorite song since I was like 8. Who doesn't like the part when they get to yell, "I'll be gone... in a DAAAIIIEEEEEE!"
Now the big question is how many of you would want to be with me on a desert island knowing that those are my songs? :) Now I’m gonna go watch Lost. How appropriate.
Currently playing "Stella" Lori Chaffer.

I would ALWAYS want to be on a desert island with you. As long as you had an oven and lots of cinnamon roll fixins.
By the way, you're a pretty lady.
