The curtain has opened and closed on 100% Chance of Rain. I am one relieved lady. The show went fairly well. There were a few glitches, which I will of course mention. (I like to exploit the misadventures of children for comic purposes.)
The evening performance ran much more smoothly, except for the kid who REALLY had to go to the bathroom and was holding inappropriate places on his personage. And of course, as Sam mentioned we had quite a few kids who decided to break the fourth wall by waving enthusiastically to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and, well, pretty much anyone they recognized.
But all is well and the show is done.
Oh yeah, if you hadn't heard I got the job at Immanuel. Guess what? I get to direct the eighth grade play. I'm thinking about A Midsummer Night's Dream. Shakespeare and middle schoolers? Do I dare? Blogs will surely follow the progress of that effort.
Currently playing- "Remedy" sung by Mr. Bo Bice. (Jealous?)

"Holding inappropriate parts on his personage..."
Is this peculiar to children? I'm quite sure Dan's done the same thing recently. In public. At church. During Communion.
SARA: Dan, stop it! Put your hands down!
DAN: BUT I HAVE TO GO!
SARA: SHHHHHHH!
C.A.: Body of Christ...
SARA: Dan, hold your hands out.
DAN to C.A.: Sorry, mister, I gots ta pee. I'll be right back.
At least Dan uses the bathroom. Jason has taken to using trees and walls and planters....
Speaking of bathrooms, I heard the funniest comment yesterday. I asked someone if they liked Coldplay, and they said, "Does a bear shit in the woods?"
Um... I THINK so... right?
Hey, parents tell their little boys to "hold it" when they have to go to the bathroom. Little boys can sometimes take things too literally!
Scottie,
LMAO.
Alli,
I'm at your house, typing this on your computer. Jealous?
Also, I just peed on your bed. It's mine now. I learned that trick from Dan.
Sara
P.S. Go Railcats!
